1. Service scope
OnuCloud provides AMD EPYC 7543P dedicated server rentals from its data centre in Tokyo, Japan. Each server is dedicated to one customer. Its CPU and included NVMe drives are not shared computing or storage resources allocated to other customers. The confirmed order specifies the memory configuration, optional extras, and selected operating system.
These terms apply to the services described on public pages and to the configuration, ordering, account management, post-delivery access, and support ticket processes. Before placing an order, customers should review the selected product details and these terms, and check that the compute architecture, storage layout, supported systems, and billing method meet their requirements. The terms for the other product line are in Section 10.
OnuCloud is responsible for the hardware and data centre network. Customers are responsible for the operating system, service configuration, access permissions, and business data. A dedicated server does not automatically include data replicas, database replication, storage mirroring, off-site backups, or other system administration services.
2. Accounts and credentials
When registering and using an account, customers must provide a valid email address that can receive messages. The account email is used for sign-in verification and service-related communications. Customers are responsible for maintaining access to that address and should not use one that cannot reliably receive verification messages.
Customers are responsible for protecting account passwords, email verification codes, and server login credentials. Verification codes, complete passwords, and other information that could grant direct access to an account must not be shared with unauthorised people. For team operations, permissions should be managed within the system rather than by sharing account credentials publicly.
If unusual sign-in activity, exposed credentials, or account access problems are detected, customers should promptly change any credentials they can control and contact OnuCloud through a console support ticket or at support@onucloud.com. Requests involving account ownership or order changes may require verification of information associated with the account and order. For details on personal information handling, see the Privacy Policy.
3. Orders and payment
All orders are settled in US dollars (USD), with no setup fee. Payment methods are those listed on the configuration page before payment is confirmed. Before submitting payment, customers should check the server model, memory, drives, bandwidth, IPv4, operating system, billing period, and amount due for the current period.
AMD dedicated server pricing consists of the monthly price for the selected model and any selected additional drives, bandwidth, extra IPv4 addresses, and Windows licences. Drive and operating system requirements should be planned before order confirmation. Services not selected must not be assumed to be included in the order. The server's actual availability status is shown in real time in the console.
Payment results, order status, and server delivery status are recorded separately in the system. After returning from the payment page, customers should check the order result; a browser redirect or a single screenshot alone does not confirm that delivery is complete. For questions about an amount, duplicate payments, or an order result, customers should submit a support ticket with the relevant order number and necessary payment information. Refund and related requests are handled in accordance with these terms and the order records; no fixed refund percentage or formula applies.
4. Billing cycles and expiry
AMD dedicated servers are available on monthly, quarterly, six-month, and annual billing cycles, covering 1, 3, 6, and 12 months, respectively. The monthly total is the sum of the model's monthly price and any monthly add-ons. Amount due for the current period = monthly total × number of months. None of the billing cycles includes a discount, and choosing a longer cycle does not change the monthly total for the same configuration.
There is no contract term. Customers can choose a billing cycle to suit their needs and renew for the selected cycle. If a service is not renewed, it stops when the paid service period ends. The absence of a contract does not automatically change the billing cycle of a paid order or result in an automatic refund of charges for services already provided.
Customers should check the service period in their order records and arrange any required renewal or data migration before expiry. Once a service has stopped, server access cannot be assumed to remain available. Backups and recovery testing should therefore be completed while the service is active, rather than postponed until access is lost.
5. Hardware specifications and storage responsibilities
AMD dedicated servers use an AMD EPYC 7543P with 32 cores and 64 threads, and 128GB or 256GB of DDR4-3200 ECC memory. Both configurations include 2 × 1TB NVMe drives, each directly connected, 250 Mbps unmetered bandwidth, and 1 dedicated IPv4 address. Memory cannot be upgraded on the same server after provisioning. To change memory configuration, a new server with the required model must be ordered and the workload migrated separately.
The two included drives are not configured as hardware RAID or supplied as a preconfigured RAID-1 array. Their combined raw capacity is 2TB. Filesystem formatting, mirroring, and other redundancy layouts affect usable capacity; when two 1TB drives are mirrored, their combined raw capacity is not the usable capacity of the mirrored volume.
Customers can add 0 to 2 additional 2TB NVMe drives. These drives are also connected independently and are not automatically added to an array. Customers are responsible for configuring and validating ZFS mirroring, software RAID, integrity checks, and backup plans. Drive replacement is a hardware service, but replacing hardware does not recover lost data.
Customers should keep backups independent of the server and verify that they can be restored. Storage mirroring can help address drive failures, but does not replace protection against accidental deletion, historical versions, or off-site backups. OnuCloud handles hardware and network faults; responsibility for system administration and data management remains with the customer, even when using a dedicated server.
6. Operating systems and licences
AMD dedicated servers include 14 free operating system options: AlmaLinux 8, 9, and 10; CentOS Stream 9 and 10; Debian 11, 12, and 13; Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS, and 26.04 LTS; FreeBSD 13; and Proxmox VE 8 and 9. When ordering, customers should check that the selected version is compatible with application dependencies, filesystems, and management tools.
Windows Server Standard and Datacenter licences are billed monthly and included in the monthly total for the selected billing cycle. Available versions are 2019, 2022, and 2025. System languages are English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Available options and licence fees are listed on the configuration page. A paid Windows licence must not be treated as a free operating system option.
Customers are responsible for software installed on the system, business applications, permissions, and updates, and must comply with the applicable software licences. System reinstalls are handled through support tickets. Before requesting a reinstall, customers must move any data they need to keep and specify the target operating system in the ticket. A reinstall does not preserve existing business data.
7. Delivery and remote access
Once the server is ready, customers can sign in to the console and check the delivery status, IP address, and login credentials in the server details. Ordering, payment, and server connectivity are separate steps. The console record determines the delivery status; these terms do not promise a specific provisioning time.
Linux, FreeBSD, and Proxmox VE use SSH. Windows Server uses RDP. Customers should use the information shown in the console and must not assume a default username, connection port, or password. After the first sign-in, access permissions should be reviewed, and passwords, keys, and firewall rules should be configured as needed.
When multiple IPv4 addresses are configured, SSH and RDP use the first address listed in the console. Customers can bind the remaining addresses to virtual machines or services as needed. For detailed connection steps and troubleshooting, see the OnuCloud post-delivery connection guide. Credentials must not be included in public documents or publicly accessible code repositories.
8. Faults and support tickets
Hardware faults, network issues, system reinstalls, and hard reboot requests should be submitted through a support ticket in the console. Tickets should include the order number, a description of the issue, the affected operations, and troubleshooting already completed. Before attaching logs or screenshots, remove passwords, keys, and personal information unrelated to the investigation.
OnuCloud handles server hardware, drive replacements, and data centre network issues. Customers are responsible for system configuration, applications, software RAID or ZFS mirroring, and data backups. During troubleshooting, distinguish between remote connection failures, unavailable applications, and hardware faults rather than treating different symptoms as the same issue.
If console access is unavailable, customers can email support@onucloud.com with details of the account and order. Requests are handled based on the specific fault and verification results; no standard response or recovery time is promised on this page. Before taking an action that could affect a system or its data, the scope should be clarified and any necessary backups completed.
9. Acceptable use and disputes
The service must not be used to carry out network attacks, send spam, distribute unlawful content, or engage in other conduct that infringes third-party rights. Customers are responsible for managing system accounts, public-facing services, and access permissions, and for promptly addressing unusual activity caused by software vulnerabilities, misconfiguration, or exposed credentials.
If such misuse occurs, OnuCloud may suspend or terminate the relevant service, depending on the circumstances. Facts relating to disputes or unusual requests are assessed against order and payment records, ticket contents, and relevant technical records. Customers must provide necessary information about the issue and must not continue prohibited activity by submitting a new order.
Hardware and network issues are handled in accordance with the service responsibilities described on this site. Customers are responsible for system errors, application configuration, and missing backups. The effects of force majeure are handled based on the circumstances and applicable law. Dedicated resources do not replace customers' own data protection and business continuity plans.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is based. If a dispute arises from the service, the parties should first review the facts and seek to resolve the matter through a support ticket or email. If they cannot reach a resolution, the dispute will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.
